Yosemite Bike Share

Yosemite’s Bike Share Program provides free bike rentals to intrepid park visitors. Unlike other bike programs in the park that are managed by attendants, users can only access the bikes through a smartphone app. Sandwich boards are placed near shared bikes at various hubs in the Valley to advertise the program and provide instructions with important information on proper bike use in the park.

Previous iterations of Bike Share signage were often text-dependent, making the information inaccessible to global visitors. In redesigning the poster with more graphics and icons, the poster made the Bike Share programmore friendly to those who did not speak English.
